Examples of Baba's ability to appear anywhere in the world, and/or be at two places at the same time are quite extensive. First of all Baba has appeard to countless individuals (including the authors) in dreams,
with many of these individuals being unaware of Who He even was! Baba has pointed out that since God exists on all dimensions or levels of Reality and transcends all levels of consciousness, "Dreams relating to
God are real."
In addition, He has definitively stated that one cannot dream of Him unless He so wills, the dreams relating to Him or in which He appears always having a spiritual purpose:
"When I appear in a dream, it is to communicate something to the individual. It is not a mere dream as is generally known. Do not think that these incidents you experienced in your dream
are stretches of your imagination. I was giving answers thereby to all your doubts." (SSS, Vol. III, p. 32)
Baba has often left behind some physical evidence of His astral visit in order to reassure the person involved that they really did see Him, and/or dreamt of Him, and that the experience was Real. He has
also appeared physically on the conscious level to innumerable people all over the world. One example of this type of experience comes again from an American named Charles Penn. Penn had just returned from
Bombay, India after having had his first physical Darshan of Sathya Sai Baba. Baba appeared before him at his US residence and said:
"You, Charles, saw at Bombay the tens of thousands of seekers of Liberation striving to catch
even a glimpse of Me. Those numbers are but a drop in the ocean compared to the countless unseen souls who try to reach Me from beyond mortal bounds. To all I give My Light and Love
and help each forward towards Liberation."
